While I loved the many years I spent teaching in a classroom, I am so grateful that I made the switch to teaching remotely through a homeschool charter. I learned about the many options homeschool families have these days with its increasing popularity, and it proved to be invaluable to my own homeschool journey. My favorite part of my job was getting to partner with families to help them succeed and keep them on track with their education goals.

Though I have since become a full-time, stay-at-home-mom in order to devote my time and energy to homeschooling my own kids, the people in my homeschool communities still come to me as a resource for their own families, whether that is in search for a new curriculum, wanting me to look over their plans, asking how I handle scheduling for teaching multiple children, or getting ideas for an area of struggle for a student with special needs.

With a desire to share my knowledge with more families outside of my immediate circle, Homeschooling Haven was born. I am thrilled to now have the pleasure of working with homeschool parents from all over the country.
